Creating The Best Halloween Party Atmosphere
The moon is full, the werewolves are on the prowl and the chill in the air sends tingles up your spine. The mood is set for the perfect Halloween bash. Make it memorable and send your guests off with a fright they’ll never forget.
The most important factor of your successful Halloween party is your décor. Think cobwebs, hanging spiders, bats and skeletons. Darken your party area and illuminate with glow in the dark decorations or strobe lights. For a dramatic effect, rent a smoke machine and give the room a ghastly feel. The décor should be shocking and creepy. Use colors such as black, gray, orange and silver for the best effect.
No party is complete without the right mood music. Tunes such as
Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” or “Monster Mash,” by Boris Pickett will set the right tone for your scary soiree. Purchase a CD with haunted house sounds—bats, creaking floors and screaming will go a long way.
Finally, don’t forget the food. Make “mummy dogs” by loosely wrapping a biscuit around a hot dog for a funny treat. Make a green punch super scary by adding a severed hand. Simply take a non-powdered, non-latex glove and fill with water and freeze. Add a bit of flesh-colored food coloring to the water before freezing for maximum effect. Remove the fully frozen “hand” from the glove and float in your punch bowl. You’ll get a kick out of the look on your guests’ faces! Add small plastic spiders and other critters to your ice cube tray before freezing your ice. Your guests will get a creepy surprise in the bottom of their glass.
Making your Halloween party a success does not have to be difficult. By adding a few ghoulish touches, you can host a screaming party for your fellow revelers and guests.

a great way to show off the halloween tradition is to go all out with the princess jasmine costume, so you really feel like a princess for a day
I like the idea of going back to the basic Halloween outfits, with so many to choose from I can never decide so back to basics for me! Twilight eclipse and Harry Potter costumes are on my mind.
