Planning a Spooky Halloween Costume Party

Posted on April 18th, 2012 by admin in Halloween Party Ideas & Tips

Planning a Halloween costume party takes some time and planning. You will want to start planning at least three weeks in advance to make sure you get everything, send out the invites, and you give your guests enough time to get a costume.

The first thing to do is to make three different lists. One for for the invite list, decorations, and then food and drinks. Once you make the invite list you will want to either make your own invitations or you can just buy some. There are plenty of websites online that you can also send out e-vites to. If all of your friends are on a social networking site you can even create an event on there and make it private for just the invites to view, rsvp or let you know if they can’t come. This will help give you a good number of how many people will be attending, and how much food and drinks you will need. Be sure to put any important information such as attire, location, and if you want any of your guests to bring something.

Next you will need to make a list of decorations. You will need things like cotton spider web, posters, black light, strobe lights, and maybe even some streamers. You can even get some cups to match the theme of the party. You can get balloons, and streamers to make it more real.

Then you will want to get the food and drinks you are going to serve. Finger foods like dips, sandwiches, chips, and finger foods probably would be best. On the day of the event set up the house early enough, prep and cook any food that needs to be cooked and get ready to have a fun time. Don’t stress and get ready to see what everybody will be dressed up as as you dance the night away to the Monster Mash.

Great blog! I genuinely love how it is simple on my eyes and the data is well written. I am wondering how I might be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your rss feed which should do the trick! Have a nice day!
